OPENING DAY

T-minus 2 hours as I write this. For the first time in 6 months, I’ve got all the gear on. I’m heading doen to the ballpark in about an hour, and I’m going to buy a new hat (more on the signifigance of the hat in a bit). Tickets in my pocket, and I may even keep score today.

I used to keep score all the time, and then I started playing Roto baseball. It was driving me nuts, and I stopped about the time I stopped doing everything else in July 2002 (not a good month for me personally, professionally, or financially.)

Now, I’m just this guy. And most of the above factors are okay. (well, .333 is the Hall of Fame, right?)
