Crap
There is a simple rule that I follow in my home.
No phone in the bathroom.
Last year, my trusty, indestructible mobile phone landed in a large basin of clean water when inadvertently brushed aside.
This sucked, as at the time, I was waiting for a phone call.
I promptly moved to the local electronics store, and purchased a new phone, one that I had been eying for a while.
That phone has served me faithfully, bathroom-free, for 354 days.
I wasn’t thinking. I wasn’t paying attention.
While putting some things away, I turned just so, then heard a >SPLOOSH< . Crappity crap crap. Luckily, the phone is now "protected" by a leather case, so the worst of the possible damage may have been prevented. I'll know in a few hours if this is true. But on the safe side, don't try to call me for a bit. I won't be turning it on until tomorrow. Crap.

*Update*
Turned the phone on a little before 1 PM today. Slight moisture remained in the antenna well, but otherwise it was dry. All functions seem to be operational, although there is a slight discoloration at the top of the embedded video screen.
Whew. thats a lot of $$ I don’t really have right now, should a new phone be required.
Remember the rule, folks. It’s for your benefit.
