Think about the good times

Kenny would have wanted it that way.

Don’t let the rants color the picture all dark and scary. I’m not taking up arms, or calling for a Constitutional Convention. Quite the opposite. But we’ve but four years to get it right. Best start planning now.

Michael and Paula just had another baby. RadCon is the end of this week, and I have something to do tomorrow night that is not RadCon for the first time in a very long time.

Plenty of happy to go around

That is the problem with a baby – it will not adhere to a schedule. Just like the other, this one was a month early…

We were able to bring the new Baby home on Monday, and for those of you who wonder how things are going, let me put it this way.

Watch the new Battlestar Galactica episode “33”, and you have an idea of how things are in our household.

The new addition is a bit jaundiced, so he is hooked up to a fiberoptic belt, which is operating 24/7 in an attempt to help break down excess billyrubin in his system.

The pediatrician also wants us to feed him as much as possible (in an attempt to eliminate the broken down billyrubin) , We try to feed him every 2 hours, but he is pretty tired and it takes most of an hour to get him to fed. Which leaves an hour for him to rest up before the next feeding.

At night while the 3 year old sleeps, we each try to get a 4-5 hour block of sleep. I keep telling myself “It’s only going to be this bad for a few days, then this too shall pass”…
