Words

I have been “chastised” by several people for not posting more regularly in this space. Another friend noted that I haven’t been around lately.

There’s a lot going on in my life. Not a lot of it belongs here. Nearly none of it, in fact, hence the lack of word count.

I’ve spent the last several weeks working on various work projects during the day, and playing my favorite video game (City of Heroes/Villains) at night. On other nights, I have been out and about, and I have been conducting regular interactions with the rest of the human race.

Just not with the people I used to.

This is not a slam or commentary on the life I used to have, or the friends that I am very grateful to have in my life. But that life was not satisfying, and the ashes of it around me are not all that pleasant either.

Things happen, and will continue to do so. But the Show Must Go On, and so must I.
