In the Mouth of Madness
Yesterday morning, one of my Canadians chimed in with not one, but TWO correct guesses in the fastest growing game on bhagwanx.com.
As the First Canadian to do so this time around, Mel gets the Bhagwan bonus package of a delayed funny story, as both of the songs she identified have the same relative meaning to me. However, we all win, as her husband (an important part of the tale) took a lot of pictures a few years ago while I was visiting fair Canadia, and I’ve been wanting to work them into a photo page for some time. I still will, but we get to play a second game, Name that Photo!
Name that Photo’s rules are simple. Every caption earns one bonus point in Name that Song, but also edges out a little more of the story depicted, and another Photo to keep the game alive.
Wheee.
Warning for the ladies. Yes, I used to have really long hair. Also,, I used to drink an awful lot. You may see some of both of these in this phototrospective.
Caveat. These pictures are several years old. Combined, Joe and I have removed ~ 120 lbs from Bhagwan and Puck since then. Also, neither of us drinks beer anymore.
Coincidence? I think not.
Only 9 more guesing days until contest’s end on June 24. Name that Photo will go on until I run out of pictures.
12. When you were a little girl you were stung by a wasp. Burrow your way to my heart, the Darkest of the Hillside Thickets (Cthulhu Strikes Back, 1995 Divine Industries) 8 points, Melanie Fulgham
24. I love my mustard gas. Mustard Gas, The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets (The Great Old Ones, 19XX Divine Industries) 10 points, Melanie Fulgham
It bears mentioning at this time that these two songs had two scores available, the lesser of which would have been awarded to Banks since he was such a slacker last time around. However, had the Lead singer of said band (who is also in the mix, he just hasn’t posted yet) guessed, he would have earned Bonus points for being that. damn. cool.
Mel and Puck are two of my favorite people in the world, and my idea of a great vacation is just to go relax in their house for a week. It’s never boring, and we always have fun.
On to the photos!
That’s Joe, myself, and James Zweirs on the right. James has added a lot of James since this photo was taken. Crazy desk jobs in the gaming industry.
That’s Mel on the left. She still looks just as awesome as she did then.
Let the games begin!
More later, but keep those guesses coming!
