I Walk The Line

So October begins with a hearty and fat free bowl of herbed chicken. After holding the last 10 days at 216 ( +/- 3 lbs), I now begin my drive down to the big 200.

Again, I am tempted to go lower, and folks say I’m a little bit crazy. But the goal is “not fat” and I’ve got some left that I don’t really care for. Vanity, thy name is Bhagwan.

When you have the right tool for a project, not using it is worse than not doing the task at all.

Really explains some of my workplace stress as well, come to think of it.

Culled the closet again last night, and have a nice stack of stuff for the friends and family network. The final t-shirt purge will take place next month, as will my next “serious” shopping trip.

P.S. I wore a M t-shirt around all day yesterday. Not an M’s shirt, but a medium. While not nearly as manly as it could have been, I thouht it looked nice, and the tightness reminded me to not stuff myself with the INCREDIBLY TASTY selection of wing dome wings Mikel procured for our viewing of the Chicagoland massacre.

The Chianti was nice too, as was our discovery of a Merlot that tastes of Tortilla chips.
