Descent
204 this morning, with the standard dehydration disclaimer. The weekend was very restful, and I managed to get a lot done, even though I talked myself out of clothes shopping. I’ve been wearing The Belt around in its ninth notch (second of the two I installed a while back) for a week or so, and it’s comfortable. The shiny black belt I have for my now too-large dress slacks is in similar need of revision, but that can wait a bit.
I’m on the fence about a lot of things these days. Good times in good company swing my mood away from Black a great deal, but my dementia is such that I need time to sit and brood now and again. It passes. As Lee Marvin once said, “I’m an ex-citizen of nowhere, and sometimes I get mighty homesick.”
But today I was smiles and sunshine. Well, smiles, anyway.
