No, I am not done, and no, I do not have Body Dismorphic Disorder. There were some unfortunate bread substitutions this week which while tasty, slowed me down from slowing down.
I do have Loose Pants Disorder. which, oddly enough, can be cured with Tightened Belt Therapy.
If I could afford a Gym, I’d be using one. I have started taking the long way around getting back to my desk. It’s a pretty straight shot back to my space from the kitchen, but it’s a shorter distance than the old office’s similar run. If there were not 80 mph winds and deluge- level rains outside, I’d be making at least one lap around the complex a day. I may start walking a longer route to my first bus in the morning, which will add back in a bit more physical activity.
Of course, rain and wind and sleet and snow will deter me from this appointed task. The feds don’t pay me enough to brave that, no matter how snazzy the uniforms are.
You’ll note the time. I tried really hard to get to bed at a reasonable hour last night. All it did was wake me up tired a little earlier. I’m taking this small blessing as a gift, because it means I can get into the office earlier today, and get the work I was going to miss when the office shuts down at Noon pacific for a “Holiday Party” finished.
What bliss. Ho Ho ho. Tomorrow night will be my “real” party, where I expect to once again relate all of the information in the header, and third paragraph of this message.
