This morning’s weigh-in had me back at 174 again, after a grueling 4 days of vegetarianism that almost came to a crashing halt last night as I watched all of my co-workers eat free steaks while I nibbled on asparagus and onion rings.

Joke’s on them, I had two glasses of wine.

But that’s 5 lbs in 4 days, and enough of a remainder to keep me “on” through the weekend. But Soy products can Kiss. My. Ass. I’ve mentioned previously my struggles with celiac disease, and although I dearly love bread, having to eat it 3-4 times a day is a hard row to hoe.

So for the rest of the cycle, I’m going to swap in cow or chicken as needed, with the occasional soy entry (I’ll continue with Soy Milk and fruit as an item, for example. It may be the perfect breakfast for me and my lifestyle).

Another “change” I’ll make is that since I really don’t care if I lose any weight, I’ll continue drinking if the occasion stikes. Rum and Diet CXXe seem to be just fine with mission goals over the last three weeks, and not at all deleterious. Scotch will probably be in smaller doses, but not off the menu at all.

Basically, I’m going to do whatever the hell I feel like, and pretend to diet. New cycle may or may not happen Monday or the Monday after, depending on how much excess I pack on this weekend.
