ZOMG

Progress, of a sort. Just met with a potential landlord, and viewed an amazing space I’d be proad to call my own. It’s actually a 3 bedroom space ( I had missed the part where it is listed as 2 “+”), with both of the rooms as big or bigger than those I occupy right now. The + is perfect for the home office, so I’m hoping that happy thoughts, and a positive first impression go as far with this landlord as they have with my last one.

Who has promised to give me a glowing reccomendation. Fingers crossed all around.

Should I get this place, My actual rent would go up a negligible amount ($25), but I’d start paying for utilities (~$86, according to the nice gentleman), and I’d need to gets me some cable TV and Internets again (the internets say ~#75 for the first 6 months or so, which includes HD channels and the HD DVR).

So, for 200-250 more a month, I’d get more space, shorten my commute (directly off Aurora, giving me access to even more bus options for north and south rides), enhance the electronics purchases I’ve already made, and avoid living in a dreaded hive environment.

Sounds like a winner to me. And it would also allow me to ditch that crappy futon, Which I beleive I will list for a free takeaway this very weekend.

Needs me the room to pack, you see.

This is a bunch of chicken counting, I know. But it’s nice to dream. And, Lord whilling and the creek don’t rise, I might actually get some Furniture That Does Not Suck out of the deal.

Still wish I hadn’t bought checks, though.
