Game 72
Once again, the seat is empty.
After a cool conversation with Joe, I enter the ballpark for some early BP. Working downtown has its advantages, but not for much longer. And for the first time this year, a ball goes sailing right into my glove. But a blocker causes me to over correct, and the ball pops loose.
The double snap is primed and ready, but the blocker fumbles in row 13, the ball goes wacky to the 112, and I bleed for the cause, wrestling with 12 year olds for a souvenir.
I love baseball.
No others come close, but I have a nifty new scar. I cannot remember the last time I actually skinned something, so this is kinda cool.
As the faithful file in , Seat Attendant Ned (formerly known as Grouchy Seating Host Guy) tells me conspiratorially that pre-game ticket sales are at 23K, including seat holders like myself and the lower levels of the earth’s atmosphere. I look around, and resolve to upgrade.

Freaking Angels. Speak, Ichiro, and hit.
Although the legend tells that 6 others passed through the Mines, only one made it to Minas Tirith, and he had to brave the Pellanor fields alone to do so. Ibanez, Boone, and Winn each made two attempts to enter the white city, but were stopped short.
Stinking Angels.
It may be a foregone conclusion to rally against a team which traffics in
monkey magics, but section 112 and I try it anyway. We were doing pretty well, too, until
