Chapter 11 Preparations complete

I, of course, am not filing for bankruptcy.

This morning I work to my alarm clock for the first time in over a month. Started writing a little after 6 this morning, in in the last three hours I was able to add ~1500 words to the manuscript, and finalized the chapter.

What are now Chapters 12 and 13 are re-plotted, with some aspects shifting back and forth. There was an exchange of dialogue at the end of 11 that was too important to sandwich in, so it now makes up the bulk of 12, along with the aftermath. 13 may also split, since there is a bunch of action taking place before Act III begins.

Keeping me company through the chapter was Det. Axel Foley of the Detroit PD. His third adventure took him into the depths of Wonder World.

Chased by Bela Legosi’s Dracula, with commentary by film historian David Skal.

I’d like to do more work today, but I have the feeling that I would be too distracted. Instead, I’ll recompile the manuscript file, to update it with the minor text changes of this week.
