One last breath
Spring of 1206 has come to a close. I added a few words here and there, reorganized several chapters, and added a final, necessary beat to the protagonist’s story.
There is one bit of Tuesday’s work I want to revise tomorrow, but I am putting aside v.1 for a while now. November marches on, and I took yesterday off from writing. I’m feeling pretty good about it, and today’s abbreviated efforts make me more confident I’ve made the right choice.
Tomorrow, we bury a friend. Had I not given him a voice this last week, you would not miss him as much.
And it only gets worse from there.
