So last night, as I was basking in the glow of backed up files, good company, and a few bottles of red, red wine, an email hit my inbox that I’ve been waiting for for some time. I took a picture. I like pictures. They’re like words, but they don’t take as long to read.
Most of them, anyway.
It was only a matter of time until one of the many algorithms that rules my life decided to pair me up with myself. I’m especially happy that Blood and Ashes is getting some marketing attention, however passive. Quite a few of you have been picking it up sight-unseen, even before the nifty cover was available online. I know this, because I track sales rankings nightly, and am very much looking forward to matching up pre-orders to what I’ve got estimated. It was a fun game to play with Hearts of Iron, and I’m wagering Homefront will be even more interesting in terms of pre-sales.
This is gonna be a good year, I can feel it. But hey, don’t take my word for it. Readers just like you have been slowly raving about my first book for almost a year. And if you liked it, why not add your digital voice to theirs in a segment I like to call, Begging for Reviews?
With faces like these, how can you not love them?
